"The hotel is nice, but starting to look a little dated. One of the elevators was out of order, so only one small elevator was in use during out 2 night stay. The rooms were updated, but still showed a bit of wear and tear. One of the outlets in the bathroom shorted out my hair dryer and then the outlet wouldn't work after that, even after pressing the reset button. The room doors didn't block out much noise, we could hear doors opening and shutting around us throughout the morning/evening hours quite clearly. The staff was very friendly though and overall we would stay again, given the fair pricing of the room and the proximity of being able to walk right downtown to the main drag of bars and shops."

"Beautiful clean room. Nice balcony with a view of Grand Traverse Bay. Nice beach area with lots of chairs and loungers available. Breakfast area lovely with a view of the Bay and all selections well stocked. A great place to stay in Traverse City."

"The rooms were clean, the staff was nice. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The breakfast was ok. The linens in the rooms were a little worn, the sheet and blanket could have been pulled up higher on the bed, we like to cover our whole body up."
