Walked in 3 hours early for check-in after an 8-hour drive and the two gentlemen were able to get me and my two sons in early so we could enjoy the pool and spa after a long drive. It also provided us more time to go see Mount Rushmore early in the afternoon and again in the evening. We stayed for 3 nights and breakfast was very good. Nice and hot with plenty to go around. The hotel is within 10 minutes of Mount Rushmore and 15-20 minutes from Crazy Horse and Custer State Park. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Overall, my boys and I had a great time at the Comfort Inn and would stay here again. The only thing that I would say would need to be improved, would be turning up the heat in the pool about 5-10 degrees. Thank you for making our first trip together nice and relaxing.

Mount Rushmore memorial is just 5 minutes away from the inn.The location is also close to many attractions. The town is gorgeous and the scenery around is beautiful. Very nice and friendly staff. Would totally recommend the inn to anyone going there in the future.

Great location—very close and convenient to Mount Rushmore. The hotel was clean and comfortable overall. Only downside is it’s a bit far from restaurants (had to drive to Rapid City for more food options), and the TV didn’t have Netflix for the kids. Otherwise, a good stay.

Beds were good. Hot water, good pressure. Front desk staff was great the few interactions we had! Less than 10 minutes to Mount Rushmore. Pull out sofa had springs showing on the mattress so we couldn’t use that for our big family. Breakfast was ok, can’t complain for complimentary I guess. They also no longer have pancakes they now have a waffle maker. Pool was nice but the chlorine was so strong we couldn’t spend more than a half hour. Careful where you park- hotel side of the sidewalk is the only approved parking. Not many things open for spring break but Cruizzers right around the corner is worth the small walk!

This was one of the only hotels open during off season but it was absolutely like a cozy home which we loved coming back to being for 3 days. It was clean, felt new, amazing pool, wonderful breakfast, free coffee, tea etc. we loved the snack machine, used the laundry room, and very very much enjoyed the fancy lobby feel. We would highly recommend this place.

Overall, it was a clean comfortable property. Was one of the only two open off-season when we went pool in hot tub we’re both nice although the chlorine level in the hot tub was a little high. Staff were very kind and courteous. Only real complaint was the continental breakfast was a little chaotic. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to people.
