"This building is under reconstruction, it is very noisy around the day, there is no direct access by car as barrier is always closed and requirement is to drive through mud around the property estate and strictly park the car by the kerb away from the building. Building itself appears to be an ex-military leisure resort and so everything is very old and requires refurbishment and repair. Our room code panel got broken and room remained unlocked for some time which was fixed at our insist. Did not try breakfast."

"The Grand Opera Hotel was perfectly situated in Kutaisi, close to all the main attractions and lots of restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Kutaisi."
