"When we arrived the whole apartment smelled of sewer, like there hadn’t been anyone in several weeks. After a few hours of running water intermittently and opening the window we could get the smell out. There was both a dishwasher and a washing machine but nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry. Hanging them on the (turned off) towel dryer in the bathroom made the clothes not dry at all in 2 days as the bathroom was always very, very humid. "Good location and breakfast, but room upgrade needed We were not happy with the first room we were assigned, but after paying an extra 100+ PLN we were moved to a room in the new building. The bed was slightly bigger and we liked the upgraded room much more. The location is perfect for sightseeing the old town. Parking is about 100 meters from the hotel and costs 100 PLN per day, which felt quite expensive. The hotel restaurant offered an excellent breakfast. There is also another good restaurant nearby (not part of the hotel) where we had excellent food. Overall, a convenient base for exploring, especially after switching rooms."

"I have been here a few times over the years and it has always been a bit ropey but it's cheap. I turned up to find I had to drive through a construction site to get to the entrance to park. Parking has never cost here but I was surprised to now find out that I had to pay 35pln (£7) to park in what can only be described as a construction site for a hotel which you cannot reasonably access by foot. There are no facilities at this hotel, no restaurant, vending machine, so if you had managed to walk there, you would have to walk through the construction site and up the highway to get anything. I told the receptionist that the car park was not worth 35pln and she told me that it's not her decision to charge for it. Great. Totally understand its not her call but maybe a little better response might have stopped me walking out and going to a better place just up the road. The car park charge was the tipping point for an already poor decision of mine to stay here because it was cheaper by a few pounds and the charge was just a blatant money grab. It's obvious I wouldn't get a refund, but it was out of principle that I left to find somewhere else. This hotel is the first in Bydgoszcz to be added to my never consider again list of bad hotels. "

"We had a lovely big apartment with two rooms and everything was very clean. The breakfast spread was very good. We ate in both the bar and the Salt restaurant. Both were good and the Salt restaurant had an unusual menu selection. The pool was also good although it would have been helpful if the swimming lessons had been in one area of the pool leaving the rest for guests. The hotel is well located for the Old Town and we went to a restaurant there one night. I would definitely stay there again."
