Abandoned croft house beside Loch Kilcheran A sad reminder of the Clearances which convulsed the southern half of Lismore between 1840 and 1845, instigated by a William Cheyney who unfortunately was a typical 19th century landlord in the Highlands and Islands.

Old hotel room was very nice and updated and very comfortable accompanied by lovely breakfast. The hotel location is perfect facing the harbour view and few steps away from the train station. Highly recommended.

Really lovely welcome by the Reception staff and general manager. The hotel was undertaking some work, and recently had work completed. Fantastic views, lovely staff, great food, highly recommend.
