Good B+B close to river and lake

We were looking for good value accommodation close to Limerick. This was further away than we realised but Killaloe is a very pretty village on the Shannon with several good places to eat. Sat Nav may send you down a very narrow road from Limerick but there is a much better road parallel to it if you look at the map. Friendly host and an enjoyable stay.

Marie and Norman gave us a warm welcome and made sure we were aware of everything and ensured we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were varied and tasty. My husband and daughter loved the hot chocolate with their breakfast. Marie and Norman were a wealth of information, highlighting interesting to do near and further afield. Thank you for our welcoming and restful stay.

Staying at the Blossom Hill Bed and Breakfast was a welcomed surprise on our journey. We were warmly welcomed by Norman upon arrival who generously shared some of the history of the area. I particularly enjoyed the lovely garden and grounds with quiet sitting areas. Our hosts were warm, friendly and responsive to any request. If I didn't live a continent away, I'd love to periodically stop by and visit just for the rest and relaxation. I enjoyed visiting and learning about Killaloe. Lovely area along the Shannon River.

Anne-Marie was a gracious host. She was kind and greeted me on arrival. She offered to be available to answer any questions and was willing to provide insight if requested. She was helpful and the breakfast was lovely and delicious. She is a great host. Her recommendations were worth looking into. I would definitely recommend staying if needing a place in Athenry.

Very pleasant stay.

I enjoyed my night here in a very comfortable room. SuperValu and a pharmacy is just a short walk away if you need anything. It took me about 15 mins to walk to the lake. Breakfast was super,including a fresh fruit salad! I would definitely recommend staying here.

My stay at Blossom Hill

This was a lovely place to stay. I was it in the area for one night but would have liked to stay longer. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice views and lovely breakfast. Very friendly hosts.

Lovely house for a stay

Only stayed one night but host was very welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable but tea and coffee making facilities were downstairs in lounge so no tea in bed in the morning. Interesting town on the river with god places to eat.

Great area

Stay was very nice. The area was beautiful and direction on Hotels.com were perfect. Our host was pleasant and room was comfortable. Only negative was that our room was not ready when we arrived at 7pm. Breakfast in the morning was nice and would recommend and return again! Rolo the dog was sweet!

Nice friendly home

This is a lovely comfortable house in a nice quiet location, the beautiful village of Killaloe is just a short walk away. My hosts were very friendly, attentive and helpful and I had a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful part of Western Ireland. B & B is approx. 10 mins walk from main area, but th couple kindly gave us a taxi ride into town. Lovely people, very good quality, highly recommended

Very warm and friendly place.

A welcoming cup tea, in a lovely sitting room. A genuine interest in fact had traveled so far in attempt to trace my ancestors who left Killaloe in 1855 to immigrate to Australia. There were a number of books that was I was able to browse about Killaloe. Very helpful regard to locations we were looking. Spent a very pleasant time walking around her garden with the hostess and amazed to see a very beautiful ecalyptus in garden. Great breakfasts, pleasant and comfortable accommodation, with hosts who put themselves out to make our stay special.
