"Back from a few days at the Ruby Molly. It's a great place for a few days break in Dublin, convenient for the city centre but just far enough out for it to be reasonably quiet at night. The rooms have a slightly odd lay out (which you can see in the photos on the hotel page) with the shower cubicle actually in the bedroom. No problem with that. I've been in similar hotels before, but unfortunately if you need to get up to use the bathroom in the night , the toilet light shines through the cubicle lighting up the room. Fine if you're staying on your own, not so great if your partner is a light sleeper. We noticed that the shower had a leak after using it, we reported it to the desk but unfortunately it still remained leaky throughout our stay. That said, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the place for a stay. The staff are friendly, the location is good and the bed is comfy. What more do you really want for a short break?"

"Well we were looking forward to the last leg of our trip to celebrate my partners 40th birthday, only to receive a cold unwelcoming greeting by Naomi. Having worked in hospitality for the past 20+ years, this hotel has some of the poorest service standards I have ever encountered. We got a hello, can I have your documents while she stared at pc, no eye contact at all. First impressions leave a lasting impression, even though some staff were friendly, the others ruined the experience. I had messaged before our arrival asking for a cot to be in our room, which wasn't, and no acknowledgement of my partners 40th birthday which I had messaged about beforehand also. They were happy to offer packages at a cost which I never booked, but expected a cover letter to say enjoy your birthday or at least a booking note on reception to say happy birthday. Breakfast was a nice offering, but unfortunately it wasn't very hot. The waffles were lovely though. Bedroom was very clean and housekeeper was friendly. Checkout was as friendly as check-in. Never got asked anything about our stay. Aiden was lovely with our daughter. Overall, nice hotel, but customer service training would be beneficial for some staff."

"The Dublin One Hotel is exceptionally great for the price. One of the best places I've stayed in the whole of Europe in terms of cleanliness and orderliness with an impressive restaurant to boot. The staff is friendly, helpful, and joyous to the point of calling them 'family' especially because they exude effortless warmth."
