The hotel is located within easy walking distance of public transport. The room was comfortable and generally calm. Reception staff and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The Belfry Hotel in Oxford was a major disappointment and nowhere near its supposed 4-star standard. The room was not properly cleaned, the bathtub and sink were visibly dirty, with waste water backing up when using the tap.
