No staff support at all
Were given a suite and apparently we were not supposed to use one of the bed’s although the person who let us in the room didn’t say anything and I mean ANYTHING about the room I barely got the info about leaving the keys on the counter we were checking out very early the beds by the way had not been changed they were crumpled like they had been slept in but no one was around to say anything about it to
Late afternoon that day I get a call saying I owe 50 dollars because we used both beds even though our reservation said one bed in the room
We were never checked in properly ,never told anything then we get the rudest call ever which ended with pay the 50 or be banned from staying with them like I would ever stay there again 👎👎👎🙅 I guess you know which option I chose

Beds weren’t the comfiest. Place was good for the price.
It was good to have basically a small apartment. Snow in the parking lot was iffy as even when plowed it was not paved making traction dubious with ice. Also no lights for nighttime. Even with these issues I still enjoyed the stay
Room was clean and well prepared for our arrival. The 2-bedroom suite with full kitchen was perfect for our needs compared to a normal motel room. Outdoor lighting is needed around the building as we couldn't see the sign from the road after dark. Otherwise we will certainly be returning next fall for our annual trip!

The entrance to the parking lot off the road is terrible. We were in a dodge truck and it bottomed out as we entered and left the parking lot.

Very clean and quiet. Not a lot of natural light but we were only there in the evening so not a concern for us.
Pretty much a mini apartment. 2 comfortable beds, appreciated portable fans in both bedrooms. Living area had recliner and couch with 2 reclining ends. Kitchen pretty much had all you could need: kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, stove. Dishes, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloth. The only thing we assumed they would have but didn’t was a hair dryer.
The apt was huge, comfortable and well stocked for your cooking needs. I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place, I wished I requested bottom floor as o don’t do stairs easily. That was my mistake.

Good kitchen, good parking, nice size rooms, clean bathroom.
The place was clean, maintained well and safe. A few minutes by walk to the town and shopping. Safe Parking. Will definitely stay there on my next visit
The room smelt like piss, the staff was super rude. Wouldn’t clean our room during the stay or do anything about the awful smell that our entire family was subjected to smell for 4 days. I will never stay here ever again or recommend for anyone to stay here. If the staff wasn’t so rude to my husband about it, it wouldn’t have been so bad.
Me and my dad showed up and had to pay extra to use the second bed in a suite that already contained two double bedrooms - got told some guff about how the room can be advertised as a room for two coz one double bed qualifies as a two person bed but if you want two separate beds thats extra.
come on lets be clear fellas that’s totally misleading, or at best easy to mistake advertising. a suite meant for two at $99 a night on Expedia became $150 in person. Paid it no argument coz we needed two beds right then and there so what choice we got?
And hey, i might not have minded paying 120-150 in advance for what we got but yeah I feel I absolutely got took, so eff that.

Unique place; suite was large and spotlessly clean, although somewhat bare. Staff went over and above to send my son's forgotten stuffed animal to our new home (out of province) for which I am grateful. Only gripe is that the parking lot is not well lit. Enjoyed our stay
Good price point for Kirkland Lake area. The motel/inn is a work in progress but I trust it will only get better. We had a large room with kitchenette. The Inn and surrounding area is very quiet, great for sleeping.
This property is a little unconventional. It is not like a typical hotel at all. There is no check-in counter or any of the usual features you might see in a hotel. HOWEVER, the staff member who checked me in was very professional. The hotel was in constant communication with me, met me at the door when I arrived. Check in was quick and easy. I was escorted to my room, shown the features and then left with instruction about how to contact staff if there was any need.
The room and building was very clean. The room was more like an apartment than a typical hotel room, with a full kitchen, sofa and chair, TV, separate bedrooms and bathroom.
The bathroom lacked a little vanity space, but was otherwise great.
The bedroom was spaceous, bed comfortable, but could use closet/hanger facilities.
The ventilation fan in the kitchen is pretty low-powered, so I wouldn't trust it to evacuate heavy cooking smells. It was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes & cutlery.
The unit does not look like it is air conditioned, however this was not a problem for me at this time because the weather was cool and AC was not needed.
Overall, the property offers excellent value and I would absolutely stay again.
Had a really great stay here! The Manager met us at our suite when we arrived and gave us a tour. The open living space, two bedrooms, and large bathroom were really nice and gave us lots of room to relax and be comfortable. Our suite had a kitchen and dining area that had everything we could need; kettle, coffee maker, toaster... all the essentials. And all of it was at a great rate!
It was very quiet and very clean.
It was very nice to have two bedrooms available, and the furniture was great. There's not a lot of natural light in the unit, but we managed by leaving the bedroom door open and opening the curtains. Thank you for providing the fans to keep the unit cool enough for us. It met our needs for a comfortable two nights stay. The manager was very helpful and kind. Thank you very much.
Great spot in KL. Recently renovated (Aug 2025) and immaculately clean. Great large spaces with large kitchens and living rooms. Certainly the best place to go in KL.
Quiet and convenient. Nearly half the price of the competition. Definitely will stay there again.
