"Loved this spot; our whole group did! The pull-out couch was comfy for our movie night in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tubs which were super clean and very warm. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone seeking a quiet, lovely place to lay their head. My only recommendation to the property would be to add some curtains over all the windows to snuff the little bit of midnight sun that comes through the edges/slats. Thanks for having our group!"

"Anything this location lacks in luxury is made up for in the solitude and peacefulness of the property. The Private hot tub overlooking a horse and sheep pasture was a great addition. Visually isolated from the road and from all other nearby properties. About 10km outside of town gets you away from the other tourists. "The Blue View Cabins offer a well thought out self-catering experience in an area which allows you to beat the tour groups to key sites on the Golden Circle. "We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! "
