"The hotel is beautiful. We loved the history and character. The rooms were very comfortable. However, the service was uneven. We were told that we could order room service until 1am, so ordered. Waited an hour and nothing. When we called, we were told that there weren’t any kitchen staff and someone had come to our door to let us know. We had answered the door but no one was there and no message. When we mentioned this, they provided us with cocktails the next day. We ordered again on another day, but it took almost an hour and the food and coffee arrived cold. The eggs were flavorless. We asked that they provide us with the coffee pods given that our coffee was cold, but these never arrived. Given it is considered a luxury hotel, not impressed."
