"This is a very promising dog friendly hotel sadly let down by a few niggly decorative issues and fairly slow service. Likewise the restaurant has a great menu but whilst we both ordered very different dishes, both were saltier than the shorts of a Dead Sea fisherman. But the grounds are nice in a natural rural state and parking is plentiful"
"It is a lovely hotel with all its spa facilities. Room was very comfortable. Staff very helpful. However, it does not have a central bar area where you can just relax with a drink. I will stay there again next week but I will be looking for another option in the Friesland area."
"I stayed 2 nights at this hotel while my husband and I visited Papenburg. The staff were professional and helpful. The hotel itself is austere but clean and bright. When I was there, the hotel's clientele were mostly older customers and their adult children. The hotel had a calm atmosphere and there was little to no noise on my floor.
The rooms were a good size and had a ton of outlets and USB ports to charge your phone. The only thing that I didn't like about my room was the mattress. I found it to be very hard.
The best aspect of my stay was the breakfast. So much food and non-dairy milk for the ceral. I just loved it!

"This hotel was amazing, and not expensive; the quality and facilities (in the room I was given, which was a generous twin room) were way out in front of the norm. Food, service, location, ambience - all excellent. Highly recommended."
"Hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shops. There is limited parking places, but the parking in front of the hotel is free.
Breakfast was included and was delicious. They had a nice variety of things to choose from (bread, croissant, yogurt, crackers, fruit, etc).
Our room was neat, clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Our kids slept in a separate room with 2 single beds and desk.
Only negative point is drunk and loud people outside our window that kept us awake late at night.
Overall very pleased with the property and room. "
