"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of food and very good quality. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing, while still being conveniently close to Sligo.
The apartments are spacious and ideal for large families, providing plenty of room and comfort for everyone.
The only minor downside was the boiler, which was quite noisy when heating water. It was also difficult to maintain a consistent water temperature for bathing, and it seemed that the thermostat might not have been working properly.
Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again."
"Was disappointed about how there was no original art in this castle considering its history. All the canvas reproductions have it a rather fake appearance - one would get in Disneyland ……
Time to commission - at least- some contemporary artists to bring a sense of authenticity & while also patronizing young Irish artists…"
"Lovely B&B with really friendly, helpful hosts. Our room at the front of the house had a fantastic view, the breakfast was great, and we truly felt welcome."
"First time staying in The Landmark Hotel as I was in the vicinity for a conference!
Although, the Kellys always prided themselves on exceptional standards, and given my Mother was a former member of staff in its heyday, I was given a room that shouldn’t have been used for guests!
The bathroom had major issues with tiles about to come off the wall, the sink area not thoroughly cleaned to a high level of standards and the furniture was outdated and the curtains had bad stains on them!
The best part of my stay was the exceptional staff at breakfast and again in The Boardwalk and reception!
Left feeling disappointed by the stay."
"This B and B is an exquisite home. The host, Kate, was fun, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time. Also the Best Irish breakfast !"
"Rosdarrig House is a beautifully maintained residence. The room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Our hostess and her helper were very accommodating. The only drawback was the evenings were very chilly so I couldn't sit outside in the garden to watch the sunsets. That's no fault of our hostess."
