This is a very relaxing place to stay, and has a restaurant with a beautiful jungle and ocean view. All the food is incredible (and at great prices!), and the people who work there are very nice - just ask for anything you need or want to eat and they will make it happen!

5 minute walk from the beach, the property was fantastic with brand new rooms/cabins that were clean and very modern. The included breakfast was delicious as were appetizers we had one of the evenings.

The hotel is very well located at 5 min walk from the beach. The area is nice with a good tree coverage that protect from the afternoon sun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They arrange the taxi for us for the day we were leaving. The food was very good at the restaurant and we liked the view from the restaurant looking at the see. There is a good breeze in the evening. The room and shower were clean and very spacious. Recommended if you want to visit this area

A quiet secluded retreat on what can be an otherwise crazy island. The host was wonderful and the main reason we would come back to stay here. We didn't stay much in the actual room but it had the basics we needed and was comfortable.

Very private little huts were great in a beautiful setting. Home cooked meals on sight. Staff happily arranged for our transfer. Lots of very steep roads and walkways with steps in the area if youre walking including at the resort. Resort has scooters for rent. Only a 5 min walk to Haad Yao beach. Food available all along the beach.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß, schön und sauber. Hatte Mikrowelle, Safe und eine Sitzecke, es gab auch einen Balkon. Kühlschrank mit 2 Wasserflaschen.Frühstück war auch sehr gut, sowie das Restaurant war sehr gemütlich. Das Personal war super nett. Nicht so schön fand ich, dass die Tür nicht wirklich abgeschlossen war, sondern einen kleinen Spalt hatte. TV hat nicht funktioniert. Draußen waren richtig viele Moskitos.

Quiet hotel on the beach

The rooms were spotless, no bugs, the air conditioning was good and the wifi was good. It's right on the beach so you can go for a walk, and it has some nice places to hang out by the pool with shade. The pool is pretty nice as well. Small hotel with only like 4 or 5 rooms, so it's pretty quiet. The host was very accomodating and helpful. It's an ideal place to stay to relax and enjoy the area.

雖然離滿月趴有點遠,但老闆娘人真的超好的,非常有正義感,因為我們在帕岸島上被機車texi載騙了2000元,老闆娘知道後還堅持帶我們去報警,又帶我們去搭船,真的是熱情人又很善良的一家旅館,另外房間也是很乾淨,在房間就可以看到海了!

Kleines liebevoll geführtes Resort

Nach 5 Tagen auf Koh Tao wollten wir noch 6 Tage auf Koh Phangan verbringen. Das Sun Moon Star hat alles geboten was ich erwartet hatte und hat sich um alle Anliegen gekümmert. Sehenswert ist auf jeden Fall der Nachbarstrand Haad Salad, ansonsten sollte man sich einen Roller mieten und über die Insel düsen. es gibt genügend gute Essensmöglichkeiten, Tripadvisor hilft an dieser Stelle weiter. Das Meer ist an der Westküste definitiv ruhiger als an der Ostküste.

Wunderbarer Familienbetrieb in wunderbarer Lage

Vom ersten Moment habe ich mich willkommen und sehr wohl gefühlt. Meine erste Thailand-Erfahrung ist auch Dank 'SunMoonSun' wundervoll gewesen. Personliche Widmung von allen, authentische frische lebendige Energie; man spürt, dass sie lieben was sie tun. 'Fun und On' sind das Herz des Resorts und engagieren sich 100% für was sie tun. Man kann sich auf sie verlassen und alles fragen; die Informationen sind immer ausführlich und begründet. Es eignet sich eventuell nicht für Leute die ständig 'Extrawünsche' haben, es handelt sich um einen Familienbetrieb und dies sollte man wissen und respektieren. Dennoch kann man alles fragen und wenn immer möglich, wird eine Lösung gesucht und gefunden. Ich reiste alleine und hatte immer wieder lustige Unterhaltungen mit 'Fon' und 'On'.

Wunderbare Unterkunft

Ich war nun bereits zum vierten Mal im Sun Moon Star Resort. Die Betreiberfamilie freut sich jedes Jahr wie verrückt über meine Ankunft und hilft einem in jeder Situation. Die Bungalows gehören zu den schönsten auf Koh Phangan und werden jeden Tag einwandfrei geputzt und frische Handtücher bereit gelegt. Die Motor-Roller, die man beim Resort mieten kann sind von der neusten Generation. Ich kann das Resort weiterhin uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.
