"The only thing that might not have been convinient is that it is far away from any commercial area, you rely a lot on the Hotel Van that takes you there '40 minutes away,, however if you are after far away from anything and not noise, perfect place to be."
"Paradise! Let’s start with the good ….
Stunning pool, spacious rooms with beautiful outlook, clean but with the usual firm beds. Gorgeous grounds and right on a beach that stretches for ever both ways- great for walking. There is a pack of dogs that roam the property. They hang around the restaurant and beg for food. They seem harmless but I wasn’t tempted to pat one. In good health though and probably owned by the resort. No cats to be seen
The not so good would be the majority of the patronage were Russians. Strange vibe from them, verging on unfriendly. The sea was murky grey and not tempting to swim in at all. Maybe it was the time of year we were there?
Something to note is you access the property via a long boat or ferry across a substantial river then shuttle van. The long boat cost 80 baht for the 3 of us and the shuttle appeared to be free (phone the resort on arrival at the pier) All in all a lovely place with lovely staff but it has no soul"
"This place is a gem. Quiet beach front place with delicious food, walkable to small restaurants at pier. Stayed 2 nights with family and could have stayed a week! "
"The premises are very clean and beautiful. You are immersed in full nature. The food was always delicious. They could better organize the beach with sun loungers and sun umbrellas. It is a place to rest and reset. Loved the yoga/qigong with Alisa. Staff is always nice and friendly, except i had an issue with Teresa unfortunately. In the end all solved. I recommend this place if you need a break and disconnect but know that cockroaches, geckos, monkeys also live there. Plan for extras for boat and transport which is expensive for Thailand. "
"Nice place if it’s one or 2 nights but wouldn’t recommend staying for longer. Location is good as it’s by the bus station so can go to Phuket or Khao Sok. Beds aren’t the comfiest in all honesty- me and my friend had serve neck ache but maybe we are weak bodied. "
"We loved our stay at ThaiLife so much. It's an incredibly beautiful property, exactly the kind I was looking for to get away from the crowds. I was instantly de-stressed and relaxed and did not even wish to leave the grounds, though I am normally very curious person who loves to explore. I loved their simple but lovely beach too. If I were to change one thing, I would say that putting gravel all around the reception area is not very guest-friendly. We roll our bags and the gravel destroys the wheels. Also, for a completely unknown reason both receptionists at the front desk acted in a non-friendly manner, which probably would not even register with me if Thai people were not usually so friendly, but it's no big deal. "
"The people who work at these facilities are never to blame, they work with what they are given. The hotel manager was an angel, his staff exceptional but the hotel is in great need of renovations or general maintenance. Investment is needed to bring it at its grandeur. "
