The staff is always friendly and helpful - many have been at the resort for years, and they never fail to remember our family. Beds are comfortable, and the rustic vibe is so relaxing. "Should have earned 5 stars - but apparently we got there during renovations, so we really could not have full access to amenities that we in the process of being brought in or managed in some way. Apparently the website needs some attention as well - the hosts could not see our whole reservation. We were about to leave and find another hotel, but the hosts did some last minute shifting around to make a one night stay tolerable."

8/10 Good

"The location is right down by the riverside so you will see the fishing boats coming and going from the restaurant balcony morning and afternoon. Just a couple minutes walk to the markets where the fisherman bring their cartch . The best beach around is just behind the castle about 5 minutes walk. Service is good and everything you might want to buy is just down the busy street."
