Amazing place to stay if you like lots of room

We loved the spacious villa and the pool overlooking the beach. Hotel was in a nice spot. Soundproofing is not great, beds are ridiculously hard,there’s no phone in the rooms or dressing gowns. I would stay here again.

Perfect.

Nice place to stay in Lamai. Located a little north from Lamai centre, which makes it more quiet. But still walking distance to everything. The beach is nice with a charming pier and small fishing boats. The pier even got an outdoor gym!! Pool is great. The pool restaurant is perfect, serving tasty lunches, dinners, and even a small but very tasty breakfast! The villas are really great. Spacious and well maintained. Only down side is the lack of a decent shower at the villas. There is a shower head at the bath tub, but a real shower would have been way better than a bath tub. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the room cleaning is super. If you crave for a great, healthy breakfast or lunch option, the restaurant "Toast" is across the street. 7/11 is across the street as well. There is massage and a coffee shop in house. Half an hour walk and you are reaching another beautiful beach called Silver Beach. Well worth a visit. Poolsawat is recommended!!

Enjoyed our 2 nights at Poolsawat. Room had a great view of the beach and pool. Beach felt quite private also. Staff were friendly. Water provided in the fridge. Transfers also available but a little pricey. Lots of road noise depending on which room you have. Also no hand towels are provided, just towels for shower and you can get towels for pool and beach at the poolside restaurant. 7/11 is right opposite, as is a lively little local fruit stall, and a local restaurant (opposite side to the right). Main part of Lamai was a good 20min walk away.

I stayed in the hotel room which had a great view of the ocean, but the noise of the main road was the only downside of this hotel, I had to use earplugs to get some peace and quiet. Other than that, the pool is amazing, staff is friendly, it’s clean, close to the night market, etc

Good Value for money.

Poolsawat is good value for the price. Located on the quieter side of the island at Lamai, there are plenty of food outlets and other 'necessities'. The pool is well maintained and very pleasant.Staff were courteous and helpful.

Nice clean pool with friendly people.

Overall a nice place

Room was nice and clean , pool etc all very nice. Only downside was the noise from the main road with loud motorbikes going past and a car alarm going off several times. Maybe a better front door would help to reduce road noise otherwise very good.

Poolsawat villa holtel is so good, I recommend to your long Holliday on Samui, Hotel is clean and nice, all of basic need that you can accessed in every day such as swimming pools, parking car, WiFi and very closed beach than other.

Amazing!

Amazing value, beautiful and clean pool, sea view, outside towels to use at pool. The beach right in front of the hotel is average and its more fisherman cove, but you can walk a bit and its ok. The location is a bit outside, we had motorbike and it was very easy to go everywhere.

Kleine, zentral gelegenes Hotel am Fischerhafen

Schöne kleine Anlage zentral direkt an der Hauptstraße zwischen Chaweng Noi und Lamai gelegen. Im Hauptgebäude befinden sich schöne geräumige Zimmer mit Meerblick ab dem 2. Stock. Die Zimmer im Hauptgebäude sind günstig (aktuell 1000 THB) aber ncht für lärmempfindliche geeignet. Wer Ruhe möchte sollte die sehr schönen Bungalows hinter dem Hauptgebäude wählen (2000 THB). Der Strandabschnitt vor dem Hotel liegt an einem kleinen Fischerhafen und ist nicht überlaufen. In der Umgebung des Hotels findet sich alles was man/frau benötigt in kleinen Supermärkten, Moped-Verleih, Wäscherei etc. Gegenüber des Hotels befindet sich ein sehr gutes Steak-House, wenn man mal nicht groß ausgehen möchte.

Did book a standard room and mention i will arrive early in the morning, did check in at 8:30 Am, not only room was available, i was also upgraded to a villa! Great and quick check in and check out, very clean, good swimming pool. A very decent property.

Remote location without nice beach

Just stayed there for 14 days. Here are my thoughts about the place. Positives - Sea view - Nice pool Negatives - Poor maintenance, light bulbs not working, air-con leaking water, air-con remote control broken, wifi stop working from time to time - Next to the main road, noisy until at least 1 am - Fisherman's pier right in front of the hotel - Green algae in shallow water near beaches around hotel - No breakfast nor restaurant in the hotel - Secluded area of Lamai, restaurants around the hotel are few and far between - Cleaning service is poor. At time, i felt like bed sheets were not changed for several days. Dirty toilet right after the room were done.

One of my go to hotels in Lamai

Poolsawat is a very comfortable place to stay. This booking was for one night but I extended for three weeks. I stayed in the main building, not the bungalows. Pros: big rooms, air con works good, very comfy beds, very good housekeeping staff, balcony with Sea view, large pool that is deep on one side, amazing health restaurant next door (Spa Samui), a great gym is across road, two convenience near by. Cons: not a swimming beach as tide is always low and rocky do to the break water here that protects the little harbor for the fishing boats that anchor here, but you can walk to nicer beaches. The biggest con is the busy road which is VERY loud, so if you stay in the main building you'll need good ear plugs which I have so no issue. Noise is not a problem if you can pay more to stay in the bungalows. Over all I like it here and I will be back.
