"We checked in very late and the staff was very helpful in getting us in our rooms. As an American, I appreciate the A/C and high-pressure showers (I think this is worth mentioning). The rooms are decently sized for euro-standards and well kept. The hotel is away from the tourist area but still conveniently located. For extended stays, there is a laundry close by so no need to overpack -- and close access to the train station. The restaurant has a good collection of regional wines (a must try). Will definitely consider booking at this hotel for future visits."

"We stayed three nights at the end of July and, on the whole, it is a lovely hotel I would happily recommend. The location is hard to beat, right in the centre of the old town and a few minutes’ walk from everything. The staff were the highlight, unfailingly polite and helpful. One room had a bit of a smell at check-in and they moved my daughter without a quibble, into an upgraded room, for the whole stay. They had also sorted our Welcome Cards digitally before we arrived. Breakfast was very good too, plenty of choice and consistently tasty. A few things for future guests, all meant constructively. The main one is the laundry that appears to be on the top floor. The machines ran from around 7am until mid to late afternoon and on the spin cycle the whole room shook. It was the vibration rather than the noise that was the problem, and my daughter two floors below still felt it. I raised it at checkout so the hotel is aware, but anyone sensitive to that would be wise to ask about room location. One room also had a bath with the plug mechanism disabled so it could not be filled, a disappointment for my son. Storage was tight for a family travelling across Europe with larger cases, and the safe was not anchored and could be lifted straight out, so we did not use it. None of that spoilt an enjoyable stay, and with some attention to the vibration it would be an easy five stars."

"We had the pleasure of staying at Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz for one night, and it was a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional, making us feel at home straight away. Check-in was quick and effortless, and the complimentary welcome drink was a lovely touch that really set the tone for our stay. Although we were only passing through and stayed for one night, we were genuinely impressed by the hotel’s hospitality and charming atmosphere. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in looking after their guests. We will definitely be back, and next time we’ll be staying much longer. Thank you to everyone at Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz for making our visit so enjoyable. Highly recommended!"

"We loved our stay here! The location is perfect and is easily walkable to the bus stops and the main tourist locations in Innsbruck. Our room was definitely a good size for our family of four and had a beautiful view of the Alps. The staff was helpful, and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here if we came to Innsbruck again!"

"Very nice hotel with some character. Excellent breakfast. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Bathroom amenities can be better. No shampoo and conditioner. No AC or fans, it’s hot if we close windows. Noisy if we open windows."
