"The beachouse is a lovely place. Don’t expect a 5star resort, but it’s got all you need. Staff is friendly and helpful and you feel welcome as a solo traveler. There’s not much around (no supermarkets, shops etc) so unless you have a car, make sure you bring everything that you need for your stay. The public bus from/to the airport stops right in front of the Beachouse (costs about FJD11 one way and takes about 3h) Just make sure you tell the driver multiple times to stop at the Beachouse. I’d stay there again :)"

"It was a wonderful stay at Maui palms. I can’t say enough about how kind and accommodating the team was here. It was smiles and laughter every day but even with the lightheartedness you could still see how attentive and caring they all were. The dinners were delicious, large portions and prompt. There’s also a small gym here which was a nice surprise. Not only do you get diverse marine life in your backyard (that you can see while in or out of the water), but you also get gorgeous sunrises and sunsets turning the sky and ocean pink."

"Very neglected resort. No money is going into the rooms/villas. The staff is hit & miss, pressured upselling for everything if not registered to the all-inclusive option. Management is pinching Pennies anywhere possible. Arrived at 8pm on a Tuesday night and the lobby was dark and no one to provide info. On hours for restaurant, how to connect with wifi or password, no one to help with linens, no bottled water or prepackaged snack for the room. We had a security guard drag our carry-ons through dirt and gravel to our room as a welcome. The beach/ocean is ankle deep most of the day, not suitable for swimming with all the huge rocks in the way. Expensive meals and drinks. Not what we saw on this website, I hope this helps others."
