Lovely property with great choice of units

Very well kept property. Great blend of pool and dive and snorkel availability. Comfortable and clean deck chairs and staff with fresh (not tired or worse) towels whenever you ask. Property has a mix of two and three bedroom units. Bathrooms are up to date with walk in showers and nice blend of toiletries. Fresh kitchens with anything we needed for staying in or hanging out. Bottom floor units are great because you can walk right out to the fun. Second floor is great too because you have a fantastic view. Individual room a/c units mean you can enjoy the fantastic breezes through the main living area and balcony and shut off the bedrooms for uninterrupted rest. Third floor has two penthouse suites that are amazing. Unlike the lower units, the living area is all open with no a/c. We loved it but you need to ventilate the door to have enough cooling air and mid day it can get warm. Choose lower levels if you're not good at climbing stairs. Really nice property all the way around. Thanks for a great stay!

Good location and dive access to house reef was fabulous. Dive staff was awesome! Friendly, helpful, great recommendations on dive sites to visit. Being able to get car rental at property was very convenient. Apartment was large, air conditioning worked well. Access having access to the two other buddy dive resorts was great as well. Linen service was hit or miss. Clean when we arrived. housekeeping only services rooms every other day, and it was minimal, towels yes, bed linens, not always.

We have a few important criteria that must be met by a Caribbean property before we commit to reserving. First the accommodations must be clean and safe. Second it must provide direct access to something great that makes the destination worth traveling to. Third it must have a full kitchen as we prefer to cook our meals sourced locally. The Belmar delivered on all three and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Our condo fit our family of four perfectly with clean, modern kitchen and bathrooms, as well as plenty of space to hang out. Our spacious patio opened up to the water allowing for direct access to fantastic dives. That is simply amazing. Step off dock and tropical fish and good reef. Certainly there are better dive spots in Bonaire but honestly, the ability to walk out your back door and enjoy an awesome snorkel or dive session is fantastic. Short drive to all the local groceries kept our refrigerator full of great Dutch food options. Our young kids loved each meal and that means more dollars can be spent on outdoor experiences rather than at the restaurants. Good dive shop staffed with friendly folks, small but clean pool and great dive related accommodations meeting most scuba/snorkel’s needs. Air/nitrox always stocked on dock and shop had everything from coffee to regulators. Good location close to everything but not busy/crowded. We will definitely return. Bonaire and the Belmar are a traveler’s perfect pairing.

We vacationed at the Belmar on the island of Bonaire on July 21-28, 2018. The location was great, with it being just a couple miles from airport and close to downtown and grocery stores. The write up was pretty much true to the letter. We had experienced some maintenance issues but they were quickly handled by the helpful staff. The apartment needed some touch up maintenance...like falling down trim...burned out lights but was all in all a great place for the money spent. I mentioned the staff, super friendly and we go above and beyond to help with our stay. The island of Bonaire is spectacular for those who love to snorkel...which is our family! We rented a car and snorkeled from shore at different spots for 5-6 hours a day. The marine life and coral we got to see was AMAZING!!!!

Beautiful view from condo right on the water. Lovely staff. Dive masters, classes, equipment, boat dives, all available on site. Condo was spacious. Kitchen could have been a little better equipped but got by just fine. Belmar is relaxing yet close to dive sites, restaurants and stores. Definitely need a car/truck.

Great location. Beautiful views. Bad wifi.

I came to Bonaire to snorkel and was not disappointed. Belmar offered a good, clean & safe basis for operation. I would return, but I will point out some weaknesses. The apartment was dated. It was clean, but the furniture was uniquely uncomfortable. The wifi was spotty & I believe no wifi is better than bad wifi. Very frustrating to watch the hourglass. The bed was two twins pushed together. Not ideal for an older couple. But the staff was fine and I felt secure and I could to any dive spot or restaurant in under 20 minutes.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent staff

Perfect place to stay in Bonaire. Excellent modern apartments with the most welcoming and helpful staff I have ever seen. I will not stay anywhere else in Bonaire. We had a great time with our two kids, 8 and 10, and we all got to dive! The diving staff and the shop is also great, they are very helpful in identifying what you need and with advice and lessons both for adults and kids. We can't wait to be back.

Great quiet location

Great location for divers. Close to north and south sites and easy access to town. Apartments have functional kitchen facilities and comfortable rooms. Central air would have been more comfortable, but each bedroom had an AC unit making sleeping comfortable.
