"The Rabbit Ears has been a favorite of ours for many years. It's nothing fancy, but the staff is excellent. It is at a perfect location in downtown Steamboat, with a bus stop right next to the motel, for easy transit to the mountain. We recommend a king room with sofa, lots of space!"

"This was honestly one of the more frustrating hotel stays I’ve had. At about 6:45am, I was woken up by housekeeping right outside my door and in the rooms next to me. Vacuuming, doors slamming over and over, people talking in the hallway. Not 9am. Not even 8am. Before 7am. That’s just not okay. My room was also right next to a heavy exterior door to the parking lot that slammed every time someone went in or out, so even before housekeeping started, it wasn’t exactly a quiet setup. I called the front desk thinking they’d at least acknowledge it, and instead got a pretty dismissive response. The guy said, “What do you want? They need to clean the rooms.” No apology, no attempt to fix anything. Just attitude. After that, I called the corporate line and still haven’t heard anything back. Between being woken up that early by staff, the noise, and how it was handled, this really missed the mark. I’ve asked for a full refund because this wasn’t even close to what you expect from a hotel stay. Would not stay here again."

"Great staff. Housekeeping was fantastic. Convenient location less than 5 min walk to lions head and vail village. Only complaint is Roku tv provides no local channels. "

"Location is fantastic. It’s an original motel that has been spruced up with new paint and updated bathrooms. It has a choppy layout. But staff were great. Location is amazing. Walked right out our door and clipped into the skis. Would do it again for a last minute ski trip like the one we were on. "

"Everything was top notch, and great. One thing that could’ve been better was our room was right by the pool area, which had people there until 10 while that was according to your policy and rules. It was very noisy for us who had a very early flight and some early mornings that made our sleep and rest not as comfortable as it could’ve been the rest of the hotel was fabulous. "
