"Ritz Carlton 5 star hotel BIG disappointment! Poor front desk ( they actually never answered the phone when I tried to call ) Bar and restaurant also disappoint/ ordered the Expensive Burger No pink / no blood . It came out rare to med But lots of blood . They offered to redo it but I had no time. Bellman left my hanging clothes in the closet ( what bell person does not check closet ?). I tried calling them for 3 hours they never answered the phone. I had to call corporate Marriott hdq For help . Finally spoke to security and located my left behind belongings in closet Bed comfort was good /everything else bad The hotel seemed deserted. Arrival May5 Holiday Inn would have been better"

"Overall, our stay at this hotel was ok. I wish I had known ahead of time that parking was only available through valet at $55.00 per day. Also, unfortunately, there was a huge tequila festival, so there was a ton of foot traffic, and it was a bit noisy. Thankfully, they put us on the opposite side of the hotel, which helped. Probably would not stay here again, although not so much the hotel, just more the location. "

"Overall we had a wonderful stay. The location excellent. Lovely part of town and safe. Initial impression is the hotel is dated and lobby dark. It would benefit from a refurbishment. However It is clean and the rooms are spacious and bright. The rooms aren't perfect, there are a few cracks on the walls but it is clean, spacious and bright. Actually the rooms are nice. Comfortable bed and good quality linen. Starbucks complimentary coffee maker in room. Wow! Lacking in wardrobe space but we made it work. There was an iron and hairdryer which was great. The food court is nice to have access to and beyond that is the excellent Colony square with restaurants and other activities being held. There was a huge yoga session being held in the square. We discovered a healthy and tasty take out option called The brown bag. The shrimp dinner plate was delicious, as was the shrimp and salmon combo. One comment in general- We found the food tasty in the varierity of restaurants we visited from Steamhouse to STK but all were heavy on salt. Atlanta restaurants need to hold back on the salt! It's so unhealthy. I prefer to add salt if required. You can't remove salt once added so please bear this in mind. Btw- Steamhouse restaurant was a welcome find. Snapper and fried grits were delicious. I actually don't usually like grits."

"Charming small hotel. It’s not for everyone, pegs for clothes instead of a closet, sink in an alcove and small shower. But comfortable, pretty, great location, complimentary champagne on checkin, lovely patio and affordable breakfast and bar food. I’d definitely stay again."
