"The White House Lodge is a unique experience. The lodge is comfortable and the design is welcoming and charming. The views of the surrounding valley and mountains are great and add to the experience. Amenities were very good and breakfast was very good. Overall experience was rewarding. The hostess was friendly and a pleasure to work with. Would stay here again when the opportunity arises!"

"Convenient place to stay, spacious room, comfortable bed. Decent breakfast."

"The place was clean we were taken care of. "

"The rooms are clean but the property has deteriorated since we stayed less than two years ago. No kitchen service or breakfast available. First room we were assigned was missing the toilet seat! We were quickly moved to another room but this should have been fixed before the room was made available to rent. The staff were helpful. We won’t book this place next time unfortunately."

"Communication was very good. Staff were helpful. It was clean but dated. Property needs to be aired daily."

"Good"

"Loud music until we left at 7 in the morning. Didnt sleep at all. Bird poo in the room. Hole in the ceiling above the toilet."

"Passengers confirmed that the service was not great and the owner was not professional. When the guys got to the hotel, it was clear that it hasn’t functioned as one in a while. The owner of the ‘hotel’ even wanted to charge the guys R4k for a room with a double bed and a sleeper couch as, according to him, there were only 2 rooms available. "

"Hosts not responsive. Toilets were not clean, Almost every day we had visits f.e. One day to measure curtains. Very few glasses in the house. The thermos for hot water was switched off, we had to switch it on. The location was quite good in a safe condo. The house was good but strange there is no bathroom downstairs."

"Beautiful property and the hosts were lovely. Very nice accommodations. Property is close to nice restaurants and shops in Mbombela. "
