"We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a broader trip through Germany as we toured Rugen And Usedom. This is a remote hotel within walking distance to the Baltic Sea in the quaint little small town of Devin. The rooms are a decent size for Germany and they were clean and comfortable. The staff spoke little English but were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was one of our favorites in Germany with exceptional schnitzel! it was five stars! Would definitely stay here again."

"Schönes sauberes Zimmer, schön ruhig. Leider konnte ich am Anreisetag nicht regulär ins Hotel einchecken. Komplette Sperrung, da ein Stadtlauf war. Es wurden wohl allen Bescheid gesagt, mir leider nicht. Kam auch keine Entschuldigung, nur ....sie wurden wohl übersehen. Ich konnte auch kein Essen nachbuchen. Geht in diesen Hotel wohl nur, wenn man es gleich mitbucht. Sollte dazu einen Hinweis auf der Homepage geben, dann kann man selbst entscheiden . Insgesamt aber alles super, sehr nettes...

"We stayed here for one night in mid-May. It was 3 degrees centigrade outside overnight. We had a spacious twin room on the top floor with a microwave and a dishwasher. The room had three radiators, one of which worked for 30 minutes only. The others did not work at all. We told the receptionist who said he would see if he could do anything. He didn’t. The reception closes at 20.00. We sat in woolly hats all evening and I kept my coat on as well. We went to bed in our full day clothes. There is no bar but there is a vending machine. I bought a bottle of beer. There is no bottle opener on the machine. I asked the receptionist if there was a bottle-opener in the room and he replied “There should be”. Like the heat that should be, it wasn’t there. Ironically, I then realised that the hotel had given us two bottles of water that required a bottle opener! At check-out, I explained the problems to a gentleman who said that he was the proprietor and that he and his wife had taken over the hotel only two weeks previously. He was horrified that the receptionist had not told him of the problem the previous evening. I hope that the new ownership has a beneficial effect on the hotel."
