Kvalvika Beach

#beachtips
If a wild camping paradise exists, it would be on Kvalvika Beach on the Lofoten Islands in Norway. This place can only be reached on foot, after doing a mountain hike, and is always packed with wild campers who come there to enoy the midnight sun. I shot this photo in July 2017, around midnight, when the sun was at its lowest point and shade was covering parts of the beach.

Sandy beaches surrounded by big cliffs in the Lofoten Islands, but rain is never far away. Rainclouds roll in from the sea here, could be an evening spent in the tent

Beautiful hike - Ryten is the hike, Kvalvika is the beach. Definitely worth doing!
