The room was great, but the trouble started outside of the hotel. The reception made several mistakes while we were there: did not provide us with the key that worked, misled us on a class of the room, mentioned the room doesn't have breakfast although we did have one via Expedia reservation. Advice: double-check everything that say.

Nice hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were responsive when asked things but didn't put themselves forward. Breakfast buffet had limited range but good quality. Good location near restaurants and metro station. Quiet, at least if you don't have a room overlooking the main road. I would stay here again

A friendly useful base for the Podil area

The hotel is well located for the Podil area, only a few mins from the central square. I used it as a base for walking around not just Podil but also the entire nearby older part of town (taking the funicular up to St Michael's and the doing a full walking tour). By the ay, there is a beautiful small church around the corner. I stayed on two separate single nights, bookending a trip to Ukraine. When I arrived at ca 630am fom an overnight flight, of course I could not check in yet but I was able to pay for a breakfast and generally to relax in the seating area outside the restaurant. Breakfast is due to start at 7 and I used this three times - on each occasion I found the breakfast good with enough hot and cold choices - I particularly enjoyed the quiche and the bread. My only gripe would be that while most things were already out at 7am, the coffee tureen generally took a few more minutes to be ready - hot water for tea (perhaps the more popular drink!) was always there before I arrived. The service was friendly and considerate: when I decided to leave a pair of shoes behind before checking out, and later returned to pick up deposited luggage, the front desk staff askd if I had forgotten my shoes - the cleaning team had raised the issue and even put them in a plastic bag for me. I stayed in different rooms on my two nights and would note that the room overlooking the main road (I was only 1 floor up) did get the clanking noise of the tramline.

Hotel staff denied existence of reservation...claiming that the hotel did not have relationship with Expedia. Asked us for the hotel confirmation number. The reception requested us to call Expedia to check our booking. We waited 30 minutes before reception reluctantly agreed to provide us with a room. Caused us loads of anxiety!

Nice style but lacking convenience

Hotel feels nice and comfortable but not very convenient due to: - location away from center - no free water provided - no water kettle in room - poor wifi connection, working intermittently at best Also, it didn't bother me but the tram is really quite loud

Bra hotell, dåligt wifi

Fint hotell med trevlig personal och som ligger i mitten av gamla stan i Kiev. Det enda negativa är helt ofungerande wi-fi. Det gick knappt att använda alls. Förutom det, var hotellet jättebra!

The bed is super tiny. & more importantly i woke up in the middle of night there were roaches creeping around & the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Well good luck. But that isn't considered a 4Star hotel. In my experience.

Breakfast should start at 7 but at 7.20 buffet was still not ready and missed many items: jam, yougurth . I was before and the service restaurant was much better. Room clean and room service good!

Nice hotel in Podol

It was a nice hotel, and I telling it. The staff was great, the room was nice. Great location. That being said, I'm mostly writing the review to get Expedia to stop spamming my email. They requested over 10 times in the last 24 hours.

Lovely European Style Hotel

I live in kiev, but had late dinner meeting in Kiev near Podol Plaza, so decided to book a room to avoid snow traffic. Hotel was excellent, from check in till check out. A very good value, solid 4.5 star hotel.
