This is a simple but tidy and welcoming hotel great for anyone wanting to experience a bit of traditional Kyoto. Its traditional roots give it real charm, but this should not be mistaken for luxury. Accommodations are modest but welcoming. Great for those interested in Kyoto's history but on a budget and looking for a unique experience.

よかったです

バス停近くの、昔の雰囲気があるこぢんまりした宿です。バス、トイレは共同でやや待つ日もありましたが、不便というほどではありません。設備はきれいです。wifiもあります。朝食も部屋まで持ってきてくれるので楽でした。女将さんにいろいろと観光情報を聞けて助かりました。いいお宿でした。

Authentic experience in Kyoto

Perfect for a couple or friends traveling together. Easy access with bus or subway from Kyoto station. Friendly staff and nice accommodation. Quiet surroundings, but many options for grocery shopping and eating nearby. Very happy about the stay!

古民家を改装した旅館ですが、静かで落ち着いて、大変良かったです。 一階の奥の部屋に泊まったのですが、庭も見えて、これも良かったです。

京町家体験楽しかった。

　京町家の生活を知りたくて、宿泊しました。 　建物は、とても素敵だし清潔で快適でした。 気分もとても上がります。けれどもトイレや夜の 帰宅時、お風呂など、音や動きにとにかく気を 使わなければならず、私はリラックスするのは 難しかったです。鍵の開閉が難しいので、なかなか 開かず、隣室の方が心配して出てきてくださり、 助けてもらいました。 　それでも、京町家での生活を感じることができる 貴重なお宿だと思います。町家カフェは、数時間ですが、 お宿は、長時間生活できるのは、贅沢な楽しみだと 思います。お部屋で食べる朝食は、とってもおいしかったです。

飯店員工非常親切

第一次嘗試日式塌塌米的住宿. 一到飯店小姐親切的介紹環境及注意事項. 房間雖然不大但很溫馨. 唯一美中不足的是盥洗室在房間外面, 冷颼颼的半夜想上廁所需要忍受寒風刺骨. 夏天入住應該就不會有問題了. 方常不一樣的體驗. 感覺很棒!

距離巴士站約10分鐘路程, 距離JR二条駅約1公里. 搭巴士會方便一點 住在地下的房間, 門外對著小坪庭, 感覺很舒服

昔ながらの

写真の通りの和風なつくりで落ち着いた雰囲気の宿です。1階奥の間に宿泊しましたが、純和風な作りで、そのせいもあってか密閉性はないため11月半ばでは少し足下が冷えましたがエアコンがあるのである程度の調整は可能だと思います。お風呂は檜の浴槽で大変よかったです。少し残念だったのは2階の人が歩くだけで振動が伝わること。私の場合は大きな問題にはなりませんでしたが、上の階に宿泊する人によっては落ち着けないかもしれません。

Quiet and convenient environment

I stayed in the"Okunoma." It was quiet and useful to take a bath. I requested Washoku breakfast box. It was also nice. I can recommend you. The view of the courtyard through the window is fantastic. It is the idealistic hotel for those who want to experience Japanese-like life.

観光客でごったがえす京都。ゲストハウスにいてもいろんな国の方々とさまざまな作法の中では落ち着かない。松庵は予想以上に落ち着けた。宿はいつもしずかで、女将さんはとても親しみのある方。そして古いのに清潔。

Relaxing and Comfortable Stay

Kyoto Machiya SHOUAN is a clean and well-kept secret charm in Kyoto, nestled in a quiet neighborhood and yet not too far away from public transportation. It is a small four-room ryokan which is extremely clean and quiet. Even though you have to share bathroom and restrooms, there is never a line and the facilities are very clean. It has a nice bath which you will enjoy the soak.

Lite svårt att hitta då det var en liten skylt. Lägg på minnet hur stället ser ut på bilderna. När du kommer in på den lilla vägen med slottet bakom dig ligger det strax på vänster sida.

思ってた古民家とはちょっと違ってましたが、手始めは満足です。バス停から少し歩かなきゃいけないのが難でした。周りに食事する所もあまりありませんでした。これが少し残念でした。

한적한 일본 동네 속 평온한 숙소

관광지의 느낌보단 일본 현지의 평범한 동네 분위기를 느끼고 싶었는데 제대로 느낄 수 있었습니다. 동네가 한적하고 평온하며 근처에 편의점, 마트, 조그마한 라멘 가게 등등.. 버스 정류장도 5분도 안걸리는 아주 가까운 거리에 있어서 교통편이 좋았습니다. 이외에도 숙박 시설도 좋았으며 유카타도 입어볼 수 있었고, 욕실에 히노끼 욕조도 있어서 기분 좋은 휴식도 취할 수 있었습니다. 숙박 주인분(직원?)도 매우 친절하셨고 길을 못찾았을 때도 친절히 알려주셔서 좋았습니다.
