"We stayed in the suite, the room was outstanding! Almost a one bed apartment vibe minus the kitchen! Such a lovely room!
Staff super friendly and food top notch! We will definitely be coming back, and have been recommending to family and friends ☺️"
"Be aware that although the hotel is walking distance to the bus terminal, it is on a hill, so you need to be reasonably fit if walking up and down. The hotel is close to the harbour and castle. The island bus service is very good for getting around the island and sight seeing. Staff are very helpful and friendly."
"The staff were friendly and helpful, eager to assist with a few small requests I had.
I found it be peaceful, I was at the rear of the property, and particularly liked the second door into the room, which I'm shielded me from any hallway activity.
Pool was lovely, and breakfast excellent. Friday, live music :-)"
"Brilliant location. 2 minutes to the heart of St Peter Port and 5 minutes to the Herm Ferry, 10 minutes to the bus station.
Wonderful restaurants around.
Staff were really helpful and lovely. We lost a key late at night and it was sorted with a smile. Breakfast ladies were fabulous.
Hotel was clean (being cleaned all the time), breakfast was very nice and rooms were clean and spacious. We benefited from gorgeous weather , so the outside bar area was lively and fun.
Highly recommend."
"A one night stay prior to flight - excellent airport location. Sizeable heated o/d pool with adult only sessions.
Good sized room with large bathroom including large walk in shower.
An early start necessitated a continental room breakfast - a sizeable feast, better than many in house breakfasts!"
"Staff very welcoming and helpful - responded swiftly and accurately to everything asked, but the property is tired and requires extensive maintenance. Pool been shut for 2 years and Heath Spa now shut as well.
Breakfast was really quite good.
Location suited us as was a short walk to event we were attending nearby."
"Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The hotel was beautiful and our room was lovely. Every member of staff were super friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again for Guernsey. The only downside was lack of car parking. Sic spaces which are first come first serve basis but we luckily didn't have any trouble."
"Breakfast was feshly cooked on demand, service was good and dining room was nicely decorated and spacious with good views of the bay. Staff very friendly and attentive. Art work throughout the hotel was admirable."
"Hotel has a large breakfast menu. It’s possible to have a lunch and dinner as well. Meals are delicious and they’ve a large drinks list too. If you want to explore local gins, cider etc. Staff are always very helpful and supportive. Customer service is excellent and they want to ensure that meals, drinks etc are to your requirements.
We enjoyed a spa as well. It was refreshing to go swimming and spent time in a Jacuzzi after sightseeing all day. I’d recommend the spa especially if you walk a lot because it seems to help with tired feet.
We also spent time in a large hotel garden. It’s a nice and quiet spot to relax. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed the heatwave.
Hotel is not far from bars and restaurants and buzzing Guernsey atmosphere. It’s also possible to book a taxi if not keen to walk or take a bus. Reception does book a taxi if requested.
I’d recommend this hotel because it has a lot to offer. Room is a good size and we also spent time in a balcony."
