"A great stay overall. Room was clean and hotel was generally well kept. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Location was good, only a short walk to the centre and very close to the gardens. Also close to tram stop to get the beach. My only con was that it was very easy to hear noise from the hallway, we were in the loft room and could hear people talking etc. but didn’t happen constantly "

"Beautiful inside out. The original historical designs of the building and the high ceiling was extra ordinary, The staff were friendly and helpful. They helped us get a taxi that can pick up in the hotel (with the narrow streets) to the airport."

"Room was clean, breakfast was good variety. Room was disappointing - very basic, boiling hot despite air con, no coffee machine or useful toiletries such as hair cap. Location was good but would stay nearer old town if went again"
