It's rooms are quite small, the amenities are sparse, and the walls are paper-thin. If it's comfort that you seek, this is not the hotel for you. Think more of a vintage hostel. When you leave for the day, to possibly explore your surroundings, you must turn in your room key at the front desk and be let back in, only after you've rang the doorbell....

"The apartment is located in a prime location with a beautiful view of Monseratte. It is also easily walkable to great shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind and the security at the front desk made me a single women feel very safe. The rooms were clean and spacious. "We stayed for 5 nights, enjoyed the hostel and Bogota. Candelos is situated in the old city, close to transmileno station Las Aguas, short walk to banks, museums, shops and bars. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area also. Staff are friendly and helpful, most speak decent english. Wifi is good and hostel has 24h reception and a beer fridge. Also breakfast is a couple eggs, bread and a coffee. Also recommend to take the free experience walking tour around the city, guide is informative and...
