"We were only 11 minutes from Old Quebec City and it was very easy to get to. A half an hour walk to the Montmorency falls, 6 minutes from the golf course and 10 minutes from Ile d’Orleans island and a half hour away from Jacques-Cartier national park. Restaurants were close by too."

"The location was excellent for exploring the area. Breakfast was delicious every day and real maple syrup and homemade jam were appreciated! Gerald offered assistance when needed and his dry sense of humour amusing) There was no kettle in the room if you wish to make coffee or tea. We would recommend this establishment and would stay here again."

"From our check-in experience with our hostess, to the comfort of the beds, and location close to all we wanted to see in Quebec City, it was an excellent stay. The room was well equipped, and the property is just charming and full of character. Would definitely come back and stay here again!"

"Our hostess was wonderful, friendly and very helpful with tips for restaurants and places to see. The location was amazing. The next street over had wonderful food choices, great bakery shops with outdoor eating available. And walking the other way led us down to the gates to the old city, the citadel and Hotel Frontenac. Hotel Widor is an ideal spot to stay."

"Simply a wonderful experience from start to finish. David is a top notch host, and very attentive to his customers. He personally prepares morning breakfast and takes care of ‘all the little things’ that makes this B&B special. The house is super inviting for guests, with comfortable rooms and bedding, a lovely common area and beautiful grounds. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and heartily recommend Gîte TerreCiel to anyone looking to travel to the Charlevoix region of Quebec. "
