"The room was an annex with patio doors, allowing my bike to be stored inside. Lots of beds and a television with a VHS player (which I did not use). West facing room but with heavy shutters so it was cool enough. I was able to have some washing done on the rest day of my tour. Walking distance from the village and retaurants. I was able to make by breakfast but there is only a microwave and kettle so not suitable for more elaborate meal preparation. Cutlery and crockery only for 2 persons despite beds for 4."

Castellane itself is well worth a visit. A lovely little town with some good restaurants, two weekly markets and great views from the the chapel on the hill."
