A large pretty property that makes you feel like you're staying on a country estate. Pool was a lovely temperature and super clean. New deck area is a nice addition. Rooms and common areas are a little tired. Breakfast was just OK. Croissants were particularly disappointing.

The staff were excellent and friendly. The outside of the property is lovely. We were a little disappointed with the room; although large, there was one window with a deck above and surrounded by trees- it was dark in the room all the time. The pillowcases were old and knobby- need to be replaced. While okay, the bathroom could use an update. Everything is clean and there were no major issues.

Hotel was in a good location and close to several good eating places. As to our room......., we were given a strange older looking room that required my wife to walk up two small set of stairs to reach the bathroom. The owner did notice my wife's limp due to recent knee surgery, so without much fanfare readily agreed to give us a better, bigger and definitely nice room on the 2nd floor. Still not sure why we had to go through that step and why after paying full price that original room was even considered ,
