"Room smelled like mold, shower was leaking into the floor. Little gnats in the drains. Floors very dirty- gray so they look clean but don’t walk in them. The sheets I think were clean but they were stained and looked dirty. There is no blow dryer or coffee maker and the noise was interstate and police activity noise. Suitable to stay overnight for business no frills but needs some maintenance. The bed was sadly very soft and sinking not what I need to sleep well. It appeared the place was huge but they had few rooms occupied or available making me think some have been condemned or something. I mean what is the deal? Anyway I didn’t check out the amenities I was busy the rest of the time I was there. "

"**Valet Car Damage. Be Aware** Stayed at The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa (March 20–26, 2026) and had a very disappointing experience related to valet service. Due to the Senior PGA event, valet parking was suggested. Unfortunately, while my vehicle was in valet custody, it was damaged. They hit a bus or one of their tour buses hit my vehicle.. At the time of pickup, valet staff acknowledged the incident and apologized, indicating the vehicle had been struck while under their care. However, since then, I have received no meaningful support or resolution from the hotel or their valet provider. My claim has been denied, and despite multiple follow-ups, no one from management has taken responsibility or provided clear answers. This has been extremely frustrating, especially given the level of service expected from a property like this. Guests should be aware that if you valet your vehicle here, you may have difficulty getting assistance if something goes wrong. I strongly recommend taking photos and documenting everything before handing over your keys, and considering alternative parking options if available. Very disappointing experience overall, and still unresolved."

"What can I say about our stay at the Kennedy…well, It’s as if whoever was responsible for dreaming it up/designing and managing it said “Hmm, what if we just did our absolute best with every single detail of this hotel?” From the incredible aesthetic, vintage boutique HIGH END VIBES, to the heated CLEAN pool, the free arcade, and the impressive hot breakfast, we absolutely loved it. Our kids said it was the best hotel they had ever stayed at. And being affordable meant the world to us, as a lower income family who can’t spend extra money on luxury. Thank you to The Kennedy for creating such a lovely space! "

"Some of the best staff I've had at any hotel I have stayed at. Genuinely warm and friendly people work here. I did not use the pool or other amenities of this nature so I can't comment on these, but the rooms themselves were spacious and I liked how easy it was to find parking near my room because of the hotel layout. The location was great, easy access to much of the local hiking trails that I enjoy using when I visit Tucson. Easy access to both Tucson proper and Oro Valley. Highly recommended. I'll be back."
