"This is a wonderful old hotel. We stayed on the top floor with a balcony with views of the lake. Very clean rooms and very rustic elevator. Walkable to everything if you are able to climb hills. Train and metro 5 minutes down the hill. "

"We picked the hotel while staying in Lausanne because it is closer to Lake Geneva and hence better view, and we are not disappointed. The room is spacious, having three balconies, with the view to the lake and the cities in France across the lake. About 15 minutes walk to/from the train station, passing a lovely park which many locals hang out playing balls, watch kids playing, and just enjoy the sunshine. "From the minute we arrived, the staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to store our bags and check in a few hours early. The room was gorgeous and had a mini bar in the room with plenty of options for tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean with all amenities of soap, shampoo, heated towels,bathrobe and slippers. Within a 5 min walk from the subway station. And right on the water. Beautiful views. The hotel also has a work out fitness room and an outdoor pool and spa. They have a sister...
"Excellent.Very good air conditioning. Thick double glazed windows.Room silent. Good beds and bathroom. Central location in the old town. Neighborhood clean and safe with some interesting characters on the street. Old town is halfway up the hill, walkable but some hills. Take the metro down to the waterfront where ,at Ouchy, there are old beautiful restored steamers to Montreux, Chillon Castle and Thonon-les-Bains with great views of the lake and Alps. Would definitely stay again. "

Idéalement placé, à 15 minutes à pied du centre ville et à 3 minutes de l'arrêt de métro, il permet de rayonner facilement sur la ville. "Beautiful large room overlooking lake Geneva. Right across the road from the metro, 2 stops into Lausanne gare. The window blinds blacked the room out at night which is perfect for me. Room was always cleaned, water restocked.
The drinks were extremely pricey, 2 250ml bottles of Coke, circa £14!
Customer service was spot on, shower was excellent and so too the spa/pool/sauna/steam room. Would highly recommend a visit!"
