"The friendliness of the staff was a big standout for me. The restaurant options are limited, but still a very nice variety of quality options at reasonable prices.There's also plenty of food choices nearby. The casino was ok. The smokiness made us not want to spend much time in there which was fine because it also made us not want to spend much money. All in all, the hospitality, affordable/quality restaurants, and proximity to ski resorts left us with super positive experience. We will be returning in the future. "

"Emailed regarding my trip. Tons of things were closed or opened layer then listed. Including night time snow tubing. We were told due to the low occupancy it wasnt worth it for them to be open. But i paid the same price as everyone else does. The main thing we went up there to do was the night time lighted snow tubing. Our room was jnfested with lady bugs, the safe didnt work, cigarette butts and ashes all over the balcony. "

"ABSOLUTELY NOT HAD 2 SWITCH ROOMS TWICE DUE TO TV AND THERMOSTAT NOT WORKING THE TOWELS HAD BLACK SMUDGE ON THEM AND THE WASH CLOTHE BLOOD SEE PICTURE THIS IS A RUN DOWN MOTEL WHEN ASKED FOR NEW TOWEL WASHCLOTH THEY GOT TO GET ROOM SERVICE THAT NEVER SHOWED UP BACK DOWN TO THE LOBBY THEY THEN SWITCHED THE ROOM NEXT ROOM HAD LAMPS WITH MOLD ALL OVER THEM BED HAD BLACK SPECKLES WHICH APPEARED TO LOOK LIKE BED BUGS THE SHEETS WHERE IN BAD SHAPE WITH BURN HOLES I"

"We did a mid week getaway. Our room was very nice - nice bed and linens, good pillows. Bathroom was too dark but towels were big and soft and fluffy. Nice toiletries by Lather. Casino was very smoky but we didn’t spend too much time there. The indoor pool was beautiful but water was chilly - 84 degrees. Loved the spa. Massages were all booked up so I had an amazing facial. Spa staff were great and space was clean and relaxing. Definitely would go back."

"This place is okay but I’ve been to Quality inn in Kentucky much better breakfast hot too eggs sausage etc. also this place doesn’t give rooms after midnight they tell you no room available till 3 pm which is STUPID so don’t bother going here after midnight go to another motel willing to give you a room. "

"Quick Review – The Swiftwater (Poconos) Overall, we had a very nice stay and were pleasantly surprised. The modern rooms were clean, the pool was warm, and the staff was friendly and accommodating throughout the trip. We booked the birthday package, which was a really nice touch. The room had balloons, a TV loop with a happy birthday message, champagne, cupcakes, and a complimentary breakfast included. It made the celebration feel special. One thing to note about the complimentary breakfast: there is a caveat. It only covers two meals and two drinks—anything beyond that is extra—so just make sure you understand the details beforehand. Traveler tip: ask the staff exactly what’s included when you check in so there are no surprises. The food at Olivet was excellent, but it is definitely fine dining, so expect higher prices. There are also good nearby alternatives if you want something more casual or affordable, like Poconos Brewing Company or even Sheetz. The only issue we ran into was that someone else’s dinner bill was accidentally added to our room. It was strange, but once we brought it to the staff’s attention they corrected it quickly. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely consider coming back."

"Room was ok, there was a smoke stain above the fireplace, water stains on the ceiling and a brown water stain in the hot tub. It was enjoyable though you can feed the deer and play some games with your lover dinner Saturday night was delicious but not so much Sunday night! We didn’t use the pool but looked nice. We had fun on the hiking trail even though it’s was a little muddy and wet as the snow had just melted. Trivia games at spooners were fun! All in all the place definitely has a distinctive feel and look, it was a nice little get away for us. "
