"Very nice staff, good breakfast (croissants were shockingly good), comfortable beds. Our only issues were small. Different parts of the room had very different temperatures. Plastic cups a bummer. Ran out of shampoo. But really none of that detracted from the stay."
"This is a no frills motel. It’s very nice, upgraded, and clean. The bed is very comfortable. This is a great place to stay to sleep. There are really no extras(pool, restaurant, bar etc) but it’s very nice"
"We always enjoy our stay at the quality Inn Petaluma… It has been our go to hotel for years and they never disappoint. Breakfast is good. The pool and spa are clean and the rooms are immaculate."
"An excellent value for Marin/Sonoma. Rooms are the traditional 50's motel setup where you can pull up right in front of your room (all are first floor), but unlike most setups, the main window and light source is on the back of the room, looking out into a spacious green space with many tables and tree swings scattered around. It's a beautiful spot on a warm summer evening and many guests were sitting out at these tables. The grounds give me the feeling that this was once a fine upscale resort and we felt like we had found a hidden gem compared to the corporate concrete boxes next to the freeway all over America.
Two amenities were not functional: the hot tub and the gas firepit tables. Both look like there is no intention of getting either of them working anytime soon.
Free continental breakfast was the minimum you could offer to claim that amenity, featuring industrial white bread products, corn flakes, Cheerios, yogurt, apples, and the worst coffee I can recall - I dumped it after a few sips. Go to one of the many nearby coffee specialists or use the in-room Keurig.
Rooms have been remodeled and kept in fine condition, with a modern bathroom, mini fridge, microwave and a big TV.
The spot is good for us when we are visiting friends in Petaluma and Novato, so as long as their price remains competitive, we will be back."
"Housekeeping and the front office staff were good. Austin was very helpful. Rio from India was nice, but I prefer a someone behind the desk/ not just a virtual assistant.
A lamp kept shorting the lights out. The outside of the buildings needs attention."
