This place is superb for a great relaxing holiday. If you want discos and nightlife like that then don’t bother. This place is lovely and tranquil and great for getting away from it all, the views are beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

The two attractions within walking distance at Calheta are the sugar mill and the Museum of Contemporary Art. I visited both but obviously they won't be of interest to everyone.
