"Was not aware that it’s a 4star hotel.. that being said location is great, clean rooms, and friendly staff.. however, even though it is a 4star hotel, just be aware that this hotel is ‘older fashioned’ . For foreigners booking this hotel, this compares to our 3stars. Do not compare this to back home. The buffet for breakfast was okay, nothing out of the ordinary, room and bathroom was spacious, and this hotel is close to the local mall and some eateries. All in all, this hotel is worth the price being that it is in a smaller town/city and not much tourism here."
"Review of Trung Nguyen Coffee Resort
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Trung Nguyen Coffee Resort, and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The resort offers a unique and refreshing blend of nature, coffee culture, and relaxation that’s hard to find elsewhere.
Atmosphere & Location
Nestled in the lush greenery of Buon Ma Thuot, the resort is a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The surroundings are beautifully maintained, with gardens, trees, and quiet walking paths that create a tranquil and refreshing atmosphere.
Accommodation
The rooms are clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated with a rustic yet comfortable design. I appreciated the natural materials and the coffee-themed touches throughout. Some rooms offer views of the garden or lake, which made the stay even more pleasant.
Coffee Experience
As expected from Trung Nguyen, the coffee here is excellent. There are multiple spots throughout the resort to enjoy freshly brewed coffee, including the famous Trung Nguyen Legend Café. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to explain the different coffee blends and preparation methods.
Facilities & Services
The resort includes several amenities such as a library, spa, and a cultural exhibition area related to coffee. The staff were polite and professional, although service at the restaurant could be a bit slow during peak hours.
Food & Dining
The on-site restaurant offers a good selection of local and Western dishes."
"I booked for a bigger size room and it was spacious, with a large window facing the street.
The staff were lovely and helpful, walking distance to many eateries and the town market.
I would stay here again."
"Pleasant place to stay and unwind near Lak Lake. Service was top notch. The staff was friendly and responsive. The property is well kept, but basic. Great place to escape the crowds of bigger cities. Great value. "
"My experience at Kim resort was anything but smooth.
Hieu and Thuy were great and had I dealt with then from start to finish, i would have likely given this a 5 star rating, but Hong is the reason why this review will only get 3 stars. Here is the story:
Upon arrival for checking in, i was advised by the receptionist on duty (named Hong) that I would need to pay more for the 3 kids that accompanied me and the family to the resort. I had booked the entire 3 bedroom villa which says sleeps 9, and i had 9 people in total. Hong advised me that both she and the resort were aware of the fault/discrepancy between the booking platform and the resort but that there was nothing she could do and had to apply the charge. I was advised that i would need to pay 350,000 dong per child per night. I then proceeded to ask her what the extra charge would cover and was told accomodation and the buffet breakfast. When i asked what the buffet breakfast included, she told me that due to low number of guests, the buffet breakfast selection would be exceptionally limited (which was a complete lie as the buffet breakfast included maybe 10 or more dishes to choose from) almost like she was trying to lower the resort standards. When asked about extra bedding for the kids, Hong advised that the resort could not provide this, and there wqs no extra water bottle for the kids either.
After some further confrontation, Hong called out a colleague by the name of Thuy. Thuy attempted to resolve the situation, b"
