"So lost power walking up 3 flights of stairs they could have covered the new parking fee 10 dollars a day not happy 3 huge lots in suburbs should not be charged no lights in parking lot while we were there don’t think I will stay there again after this not happy at all."

"The Hyatt Royal Oak is a nice hotel situated in the tony suburb of Royal Oak. Our stay was very pleasant. Our room was nice. The breakfast was fine. We didn't use the gym or lounge. The price is higher than I would expect for this type of hotel but there is a dearth of hotel choices in the area. I would stay there if I visit Royal Oak again."

"the first room we checked into, the fridge was leaking on the floor. front desk immediately gave us a different room and some snacks for the trouble. the rooms do not have carpet, so they are a little noisy. especially when the neighbors were having a rowdy good time. the bathroom light fixture only had one side working and the shower door did not close all the way. the shampoo and conditioner supplied smelled amazing! the bed was comfortable."

"We stayed on the first floor close to the lobby, and the staff at night allowed a group of young adults to basically throw a party in the room next to us. Slamming doors and yelling in the hallway outside our room, smoking so much marijuana that our room smelled of it. We will definitely use different option next time in the Detroit area. Breakfast was alright. Pool was nice, but closed way early. Not friendly for travelers looking to soak after driving all day. We arrived at 845pm, and was...

"Perfect place to stay if you'd rather not have to drive home after a night at Pine Knob. Clean, comfortable rooms; friendly staff. Good food options close by."

"Outside was so full of weeds and dirty. Inside looks like the hotel has not been kept up definitely needs some updating. We wanted to go in the pool and it was closed yet it was supposed to be open until 11pm. We stay at many Hampton hotels and are extremely disappointed with this one!!"

"Pretty much what you'd expect. Pros- room was clean, pool was great, check in and out was easy. Cons- our king bed was very firm and breakfast was underwhelming. When I asked the breakfast staff to replenish some of the items they said they only offer those items every other day but I could literally see the items I was asking for put off to the side, one being the oatmeal which was halfway prepared. That guy was not pleasant."
