Lalitha Mahal Palace

Lalitha Mahal is a palace built in 1921 at the orders of His Highness Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, the Maharaja of Mysore for the exclusive stay of the then Viceroy of India. It was converted into a heritage hotel in 1974. The ticket is cheap and worth a visit. There is a cafe by the lobby where you can enjoy tea or cafe served in silver teapots. Another highlight is the gorgeous backyard.
