Amazing view of Mount Kenya and driving through the park full of zebra and impala. Fantastic food , hot water bottles brought to the bed each evening. Lovely helpful staff.

Very helpful staff, great amenities, some of the food could have been a bit better: meat (lamb and beef) was tough. Fresh cooking station was excellent.

20 years on the place was a good as it was then. Excellent staff, food and facilities. And of cause the spectacular views of the water hole and animals.

ROOM was spotless, staff very friendly and courteous. Food was quirky (to a non-native and sub-Saharan Africa first-timer) but no-nonsense interesting if not amazing. TV was hard to navigate, though, and the WIFI was intermittent and weak.

It’s impossible to find fault with our stay at Mutara Camp. Our party of three had a car accident on the way, and Dido and Lilomo drove out at night to Rumuruti to pick two of us up - an hour each way on bad roads. The chef had stayed up to cook us a hot meal when we arrived after 11pm, which was very welcome. That level of service was maintained throughout our stay and Dido even helped our son navigate his way through the bureaucracy of the crash. All without knowing any of us beforehand. The...

The stay was lovely and the staff looked after us well.
The room was beautiful and spacious we loved it.
And the views, garden plus the environment was beautiful and quiet.
It was home away from home✨

Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Solio Game Reserve are a couple of lovely local spots to get outside and enjoy nature. Nanyuki Park and Dedan Kimathi University of Technology are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What is an aparthotel?
An aparthotel features the privacy and space of an apartment and amenities you might expect in a traditional hotel. By choosing an aparthotel, you can stay longer and absorb more of the local character in Lamuria. Enjoy making home-cooked meals in the full kitchen or kitchenette and having the space to entertain and relax with friends and family.
