"We travelled with our adult children. The check in was without issue. I rented an extra bed from an outside vendor but in retrospect, it would have been better to rent from the hotel. The room was very nice. It was not ocean view but the view of the mountains were spectacular! It had 2 bathrooms, which was a bonus. "We had a fantastic time! Our condo was a little dated, but it was so practical and clean with a great location that I didn’t mind. If you stay at The Whaler, try to get a room on the north side of the south tower or the south side of the north tower. Our room was on the south side of the south tower and our view was good, but the other views would have been spectacular! Also, being able to walk to the shops, restaurants and activities in front of of the Whaler was awesome. So much more...
