"Very interesting place for a hotelbto be located. Loads of history as the site of a very old Catholic Church and Priesthood school and learning centre. Also has its own brewery and vine yard. Great location for walking into Kerkrade centre."

"No, no, no and one more time NO. Place looks amazing, yet the service requires much improvement. I wanted to have some sleep, yet guests of the room opposite to mine had a party in their room and hallway. I called reception to come and calm them down, yet I was ignored. Instead of having nice 8 hrs sleep I had 4 hrs and I missed my breakfast. Morning receptionist was very apologetic yet absolutely useless."

We felt very welcomed by the wonderful staff, from personally showing us to our room to the restaurant staff going out of their way to ensure my wife had one more schnitzel before leaving Germany. All-in-all, it was a memorable moment on our vacation, after a series of forgettable budget hotels. And the historical town of Wassenberg is worth a visit, even though it’s off the beaten path. "Lady on arrival v. helpful. Breakfast staff v. helpful as I have to eat gluten free. Very good wide choice for breakfast. Room plain, but quiet and had all the essentials. Lady on desk when I left couldn't have cared less - barely said good bye, No thank you or 'hope you enjoyed your stay'. Hardly looked up from desk!"
