"You are able to take a taxi to the ground reservations area of the hotel. From there you catch the cable car up to the top of the mountain and check into your room. You pay extra for the cable car and have the option to arrange a buffet dinner at the hotel as well. The hotel is spread over approximately five different buildings all only a short walk from the cable car station. It was a good experience walking around once the crowds have gone especially when it is foggy. The lights get turned off in the early hours of the morning however so they are not on early in the morning if you are getting up for Sunrise. With respect to seeing sunrise over the golden bridge, the first cable car is at 6 am and in order to see the sunrise I think you can only do this between December and March when Sunrise occurs after the cable car has opened. When we were there in September the cable car started at 6am but Sunrise was at 5:25 a.m. The breakfast buffet was very comprehensive, the buffet dinner was so-so in my opinion. Overall Ba Na Hills and Sun world is a quirky place and walking around it is quite surreal. I would do it again... maybe when it's less foggy and raining."
