"My partner and I went in April for our first vacation together. We were a little worried after reading mixed reviews about the food/drinks. Everything exceeded our expectations! The food was fantastic and portion sizes/variety were great. We read something about drinks being watered down but we honestly felt the opposite. The staff were amazing, very kind and friendly! Aaron and Melinda (I could be spelling her name wrong) who work at Co-quette were especially delightful going above and beyond. We throughly enjoyed our stay and it was a great mix of lively and relaxing. We would’ve enjoyed just a bit more events but the ones they had were very fun! Highly recommend!"

"Very loud at night— they started the night time entertainment at 9P, we were ready for bed at that time & it was VERY LOUD from 9-1030 nightly. I’d recommend they start earlier or people bring noise cancellation headphones to sleep. Other than that, great food, good location, excellent service."

"This place shines in its cleanliness but thats about as far as the good service goes the food made me and the family sick and the workers lie to try and get you to agree then dont follow through with any promises wouldnt waiste your time here unless saving money is worth the headache constipation and stomach aches"

"Overall, the Cancun Bay Resort is a budget-friendly hotel, but the reality is quite different from the pictures. When we arrived, the first room was dirty and things left on the bed, possibly even blood stains or makeup stains and even though we were given a free upgrade, the new room still wasn’t up to expectations. Staff repeatedly entered our room without knocking up to six times which made us feel extremely unsafe, especially with children. While it was marketed as all-inclusive, food options were limited, and not all drinks were included. On the plus side, though, even with a late flight, they let us keep using the facilities after checkout, and they stored our bags, which was really convenient. To their credit, when we reported an AC leak on the first night, maintenance did fix it quickly. So, it can work for a budget stay, but families especially should be cautious, as privacy and cleanliness were major concerns for us."
