"We had a lovely 3 night stay. The room was clean and very comfortable. It’s in a good location, quiet yet only a 5 minute walk from Lake Bled. The host was great - friendly, helpful and gave us some really good recommendations for places to eat and things to do and see. Nice breakfast options - we chose the breakfast box of local produce which was great."

"The hotel has a killer location that completely changes everything about the stay in Bled. Front desk and the pool team is very nice and helpful. The pool and the beach are outstanding. However, the hotel is very dated and the rooms are falling apart. The hardwood floor is lose and windows panels are cracked. It’s used to be charming but now it just very old. The breakfast service was disappointing, our omelette was discussing but the rest of the breakfast was good and had a lot of verity. Overall, we were very happy with the stay because of the location and the beach. However it’s time to renovate the hotel."

"Check in was a very good experience, friendly helpful staff, although it was a bit disappointing that our room wasn’t ready at around 3:45. OK, website says 4… Parking situation was another matter, from a staff and systems perspective this needs some changes. It’s a complicated system and they do not provide a concise set of instructions to take with you or make a snapshot of. Our biggest gripe was the unfriendly, hostile nature of the underground parking lot attendant (tall, thin, in his 50’s) at around 07:00. Rapid speech, arrogance, “our system works perfectly”, and loudness got to the point where I nearly stepped out of the car for a more thorough confrontation which he came very close to earning. My German is good so I understand what was being conveyed. Other than that…no issues."

"We had a wonderful week the breakfasts were incredible the hiking from the door was really easy and beautiful. The restaurant is great. The whirlpool steam room and sauna are lovely after a good hike. Know that the sauna and steam room are no swimsuits and coed but they did give you a towel and everyone uses it."

"Great location. Worth paying extra for the balcony with a view of the lake. Hotel is nicely updated. Tasteful decor. Comfortable bed. Very helpful staff. Would definitely repeat. Only thing I didn’t like is that the restaurant bar outside plays lame music later into the evening than you might expect in such an otherwise peaceful place."
