"I guess 3rd times a charm is accurate, it took 3 rooms before we were able to settle in. The 1st room-the cover on the AC fell off the unit. The 2nd room-was left wide open, when we latched the door to see if our keys would work, they didn’t work. Both room 1 & 2 were in the 2nd floor, which needed updating. 3rd room-was updated and clean. However, the bathroom was tiny with a VERY dim light and towel rack was falling off the wall. Only shampoo & conditioner were available, no body wash. When was went to breakfast and returned to our room, our keys no longer worked. We had to return to the front desk to get them reprogrammed. The staff was VERY kind, helpful, & apologetic."
"Was told the pool was open , as we were visiting our grandchildren and to arrive and find out it’s closed, hot tub not working properly either.. rooms smell of musk and ants!!!"
"I thought this was aa pretty good motel for the money. Staff was nice, property was clean, window ac not working real good, but kept us cool enough to sleep. Would stay there again."
"EXCELLENT. Perfect spot to spend a weekend with the shrine and take a trip to local sites. I have been on a 2000-mile cycle ride, and being at the Park View was the perfect tonic to what had been really challenging. The team were exceptional and without a doubt the best I have experienced in any place I've stayed. It really is a home from home. Breakfast is continental and perfect for me. They have a dog called Howie, who is the most wonderful dog, so human and really lovely. Even if you weren't a dog lover, you would struggle not to love Howie. The room and entire hotel are exceptionally clean and well-kept."
"Upon check in there was a sign at the front desk to let guests know that the pool and hot tub were not working. There was no indication when it would be reopening and it did not open during the two night weekend stay that I was there. The in room TV did not work, either. Staff did not replace it although they weee notified. Not sure what the problem was. There were literally four cars in the parking lot the entire stay. This hotel is under new ownership. Maybe that is the issue. Walls in the room were in need of touch up paint, also. They were dark colored with lots of unsightly dings. Otherwise it looked okay in the room. Just paid a lot for amenities that couldn’t be used and zero discounts were offered."
