"Hotel was amazingly clean, desk staff helpful at check-in. Room was clean and spacious. Only problem was when we arrived we had to take a taxi instead of the planned hotel shuttle from the airport. Having watched the YouTube video on where to meet the hotel shuttle, we arrived in plenty of time to catch the last shuttle of the night. My sister and I stood outside, along the blue metal fence area, door 4 waiting for the shuttle to arrive, only to see it whizzing by along a different lane, no where near the hotel shuttle area.
The taxi line was well coordinate and a ride was arranged. Only disconcerting issue was the taxi driver did not have his meter running, on the dash or rear view mirror as all other taxis encountered during our Rome vacation. We arrived at the hotel after a very short ride, charged 45 euros ($50+USD) pretty steep, no receipt given.
