Arrived evening about 21:00 on a Monday, in France Monday is a no no as everything is closed, I would not expect a hotel to be quite so reluctant to serve its customers, absolute no possibility of food that evening and breakfast was from 08:30, we were leaving at 07:30, not even an offer to leave ...

Absolutely awful. Contacted the hotel via email, texts, whats app messages and calls (on both their main and emergency "24hr" number) totalling over 20 times as well as having hotels.com attempt to contact them as we couldn't enter the apartment on arrival as reception was shut.
